Precise Research is a data collection company who conducts survey whenever it receives a request from its Clients. The Clients provide Precise Research with a pre-qualification criteria or questions to conduct a survey. Precise Research collects your personal information and send you requests to participate in the survey. The survey that we send from our end are programmed and hosted by our Clients and we do not have control over the same.

 

2. General

 

2.1 This Privacy policy applies to all the products, services, polls, surveys, websites and apps (hereinafter referred to as “Services” in this policy) offered by Precise Research, except where otherwise noted

2.2 Your privacy is important to us; therefore, we take the protection of your Personal Information very seriously.

 

3. Definitions

 

3.1 Data subject: Data subject means any identifiable natural person who can be identified directly or indirectly, in particular by reference to an identifier such as a name, an identification number, location data, an online identifier or to one or more factors specific to the physical, physiological, genetic, mental, economic, cultural or social identity of that natural person.

1. any data subject who has received a survey, form, application, or questionnaire powered by a Precise Research; or
2. any data subject who completes the registration process to become a member of the Panel; or
3. any data subject who has signed up and agreed to take surveys sent to you by Precise Research on behalf of customers; or
4. any data subject who is visiting one of our websites because they are Curious!

 

4. What Personal Information do we collect?

 

Personal Information generally means information which relates to a living individual who can be identified from that information. Precise Research collects your Personal Information whenever you provide us with the information whether through use of our Services, a form on our website, an interaction with our sales or customer support team or a response to one of Precise Research’s survey. The Personal Information we collect about you are as follows:

4.1 Contact Information: Contact information mainly includes e-mail address, full name, home address, phone/mobile number, demographic information, billing address etc.

4.2 Other Information: Other Information includes but not limited to Annual Income, HH Income, Education, employment status and company’s employee size.

4.3 Device and browser information: Precise Research also collects information about your device or computer such as browser, time zone, device type, network, operating system, carrier user id and locale and other information that alone or in combination may be used to uniquely identify your device or computer.

4.4 Log Data Like most websites today, our web servers keep log files that record data each time a device accesses those servers. The log files contain data about the nature of each access, including originating IP addresses, internet service providers, the files viewed on our site (e.g. HTML pages, graphics, etc.), operating system versions, device type and timestamps

 

5. How do we collect your Personal Information?

 

Precise Research collects your Personal Information when you register yourself on our portal to participate in online surveys. We use such information for profiling so that we can send you surveys accordingly. The survey link that we send from our end to you are programmed and hosted by our Clients only and we do not have any control over it.

 

6. Information from third parties and integration partners

 

We collect your Personal Information from third parties if you give permission to those third parties to share your information with us or where you have made that information publicly available online. It is pertinent to mention that Precise Research does not receive or collect your whole survey information, however, it only receives your Personal Information.

 

7. Information shared by you on third party website or web page

 

Precise Research does not control or take any responsibility for the confidentiality of Personal Information shared by you on third party website or web page. Please always review and share information if you consent to their terms and usage of your information by them.

 

8. Disclosure of Personal Information to Third Party

 

Please note that generally we do not share any Personal Information with anyone and always try to maintain the privacy. Sometimes our Clients asks for your Personal Information, however, your Personal Information is not shared with our Clients without your consent. Only after you provide consent, we share your Personal Information with our Clients

Please note that the survey you fill is only shared with our Clients and all your Personal Information remains protected with us.

However, we may need to disclose your Personal Information when we believe it’s in good faith and necessary to comply with judicial proceeding, court order, legal process or when needed to investigate, act against any illegal, suspected or fraudulent activity

 

9. Do we sell your Personal Information?

 

No, we do not sell your Personal Information to any other company. We base our business on two valuable concepts, trust and quality. We will never contact you for marketing purposes, but only for market research purposes. All information passed on to associated marketing research agencies is anonymous. You can trust us to keep your personal details safe and free from any external parties. The information you provide us will be strictly used by Precise Research for research purposes only.

 

10. Your Legal rights

 

Under certain circumstances, you have rights under data protection laws in relation to your personal information. Additionally, you have access to your personal information through your account and you may update, correct, or delete your member information and email preferences at any time. You may also object or request restriction of the processing of your information, request transfer of your personal information or withdraw your consent to processing. To protect your privacy and security, we take reasonable steps to verify your identity before granting Users profile access or changes. YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR MAINTAINING THE SECRECY OF YOUR UNIQUE PASSWORD AND ACCOUNT INFORMATION AT ALL TIMES. We may also contact you to ask you for further information in relation to your request to speed up our response. We try to respond to all legitimate requests within one month. Occasionally it could take us longer than a month if your request is particularly complex or you have made a number of requests. In this case, we will notify you and keep you updated.

PLEASE NOTE THAT WITH THE EXCEPTION OF CERTAIN CATEGORIES OF INFORMATION AS IDENTIFIED BY TRUEOPINION FROM TIME TO TIME, ALL INFORMATION THAT YOU POST FOR VIEWING ON THE SITE IS MADE PUBLICLY AVAILABLE TO ALL USERS OF THE SITE.

 

10.1 Right to access, rectify or delete your information:

You have the right to request from Precise Research to access, rectify or delete your information stored with us. You can ask us to verify whether we are processing Personal Information about you. You can ask us to rectify our records if you believe they contain incorrect or incomplete information about you. Lastly, you can ask us to delete your Personal Information if you withdraw your consent or when we no longer need it for the purpose it was originally collected for.

10.1.1 Right to restrict processing:

You have the right to restrict processing of your Personal Information in circumstances where:

1. you contest the accuracy of the Personal Information
2. prefer to restrict its use rather than having us erase it;
3. where you believe we no longer need the Personal Information for the purpose of processing, but you require Personal Information for establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.
4. you have objected to processing, pending the verification of that objection.

10.5 Right to data portability:

Where you have provided Personal Information to us, you can ask us to transmit that Personal Information (in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format) directly to another company if is technically feasible.

You have the right to erase/ delete your Personal Information without undue delay in circumstances where:

10.7 Right to withdraw consent

Your participation and all the survey invitations are always voluntary, and you can withdraw consent or terminate your membership at any time. Withdrawal will not affect the lawfulness of any processing carried out before you withdraw your consent

You can withdraw your consent/ terminate your membership by:

1. Logging in to your account and cancel your membership; or
2. Sending your request to compliance@true-opinion.com

Please note that by terminating your membership you terminate all earned and pending redemption reward points associated with the membership. Terminated members will not receive any further survey invitations after clearing email queues. Precise Research will retain the Personal Information of a terminated member for an indefinite period, until specifically asked by you to delete the same. Even after termination of membership, Precise Research will continue to protect such Personal Information in accordance with this Privacy policy.

10.8 Right to complaint to a supervising authority

If you consider that our processing of your Personal Information infringes data protection laws, you have a legal right to lodge a complaint with a responsible authority responsible for data protection.

11. Retaining and Deleting your Personal Information

 

If you hold an account with Precise Research, we do not delete the information in your account on our own discretion. You are responsible for and control the time periods for which you wish to retain this information. There are controls in your account where you can delete all of the Personal Information in your account.

2. Logging into your account and deleting your information

Please note that your Personal Information shall not be retained for longer with us. However, we may retain your information for compliance with a legal obligation to which we are subject, or in order to protect your vital interests or the vital interests of another natural person.

 

12. Data Encryption

 

No data transmissions over the Internet can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. Consequently, we cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information you transmit to us and you do so at your own risk. Once we receive your transmission, we make reasonable efforts to ensure security on our systems. We use secure server software (SSL) and firewalls to protect your information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. However, please note that this is not a guarantee that such information may not be illegally or improperly accessed, disclosed, altered, or destroyed by breach of such firewalls and secure server software.

If TrueOpinion learns of a security systems breach, then we may attempt to notify you electronically so that you can take appropriate protective steps. By using the Site or providing personal information to us, you agree that we can communicate with you electronically regarding security, privacy, and administrative issues relating to your use of the Site. TrueOpinion may post a notice on the Site if a security breach occurs. If this happens, you will need a web browser enabling you to view the Site. TrueOpinion may also send an email to you at the email address you have provided to us in these circumstances. Depending on where you live, you may have a legal right to receive notice of a security breach in writing. To receive a free written notice of a security breach (or to withdraw your consent from receiving electronic notice) you should notify us via email at compliance@true-opinion.com.

 

13. Undertaking by Precise Research

 

13.1 Precise Research shall:

1. Consider your eligibility to take part in each of its surveys;
2. Enter your name into its regular prize draw if you answer any qualifying questions;
3. Inform you the amount that will be credited to your True Opinion Account if you correctly and completely answer the questions comprising a True Opinion survey ("the Notified Amount");
4. Credit the relevant Notified Amount to your True Opinion account each time you correctly and completely answer all of the questions in a survey; for the purposes of this Agreement Precise Research will not consider questions to be "correctly" answered if it deems that an answer is confusing or meaningless;
5. Transfer the amount in your True Opinion account into your preferred form of payment (e.g. Paypal or Bank check can be redeemed) within 28 days of you making an electronic request to Precise Research via the website to draw down the amount in your Account; for the avoidance of doubt you will not be able to draw down the amount in your Account until the amount in your Account has reached Rs. 400/- (the Reward); and $50 for foreign members.
6. Send you or a beneficiary nominated by you, your Reward/Reward within thirty days of the purchase of the Reward.

13.2 There is no obligation on Precise Research to select any panel member to answer survey questions. The members requested to take part in surveys depends on the requirements of the Clients of Precise Research and the random selection of those requested to take part from those that are eligible.

13.3 Precise Research may sometimes contact you to ask you some short questions to see if you fit into a particular category. In such cases, Precise Research shall not offer any payment for the answering of such questions.

13.4 Precise Research reserves the right to:

1. Offer a substitute reward of equivalent value to the payment method you have selected; and
2. Change the value of the Nominated Amount in respect of answering survey and research questions

13.5 Precise Research does not credit your Account if you are in breach our terms and conditions and Privacy Policy

13.6 Should Precise Research establish that you are in breach of Privacy Policy and terms & conditions after crediting your Account, Precise Research may deduct from your Account any Nominated Amounts credited in respect of all relevant surveys.

13.7 Precise Research shall not be obliged to make any payment to a member:

1. Whose balance in their Account does not reach the amount of the Reward.
2. Who does not respond to any survey requests within a twelve-month period and whose balance has not reached the level of the Reward; for the avoidance of doubt should you not respond to any survey requests in a twelve-month period at the end of that twelve month period the balance of your Account will be cleared and reset at zero;
3. Whose balance in their Account is under the level of the Reward at the point that the True Opinion service is suspended or terminated by Precise Research; or
4. Who terminates their membership of the True Opinion Panel prior to the balance of their Account reaching the level of the Reward?

 

14. Obligations of the member

 

14.1 The member warrants:

1. That he/she is 16 years old or over;
2. That he/she is a resident that particular country he/she have registered with us;
3. That he/she shall not register with True Opinion more than once;
4. That he/she will not attempt to answer a survey more than once, either by using more than one name or more than one email address to enter into a survey;
5. That he/she will be honest in their approach to the research, for example they will not provide confusing or meaningless answers; and
6. That he/she is competent to contract as per applicable Indian laws

14.2 Precise Research has no obligation in respect of any tax due on the Reward/Incentives given to a member and the member shall be responsible for declaring any income received from Precise Research under this Agreement and payment of tax, as per applicable Indian laws.

14.3 The member is obliged to claim payment from Precise Research via the procedures set out on the website for the amount in their Account within three months of the amount in their Account reaching the level of the Reward. Should the member fail to contact Precise Research to claim payment for their Reward within the time specified, the member will not be entitled to receive payment for the Reward and Precise Research shall clear the member’s Account which will be reset to zero.

14.4 Should the amount in any member’s Account be greater than the level of the Reward at the date on which the introduction of Clause 14.3 above is communicated to the member, the member shall have three months from the date of communication to notify Precise Research that they are claiming payment for the Reward. Should the member fail to contact Precise Research to claim payment for their Reward within the time as specified in this Clause; the member will not be entitled to receive payment for the Reward and Precise Research shall clear the member’s Account which will be reset to zero.

 

15. Limitations on Liability

 

15.1 Precise Research shall not be liable to you or to any other person or entity in any way, whether arising under contract, tort (including negligence) or otherwise, for damages of any kind arising from the use of this website, including, but not limited to, direct, indirect, incidental, punitive or consequential damages, lost revenue or profits, lost or damaged data or other commercial or economic loss, that result from your use of, or inability to use, this website.

15.4 Nothing in this Agreement shall exclude or limit the liability of Precise Research for:

17. Jurisdiction and Law

 

This Agreement is governed by the laws of India. The parties irrevocably agree that the courts in New Delhi, India shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute which may arise out of, under, or in connection with this Agreement or the legal relationship established by them, and for those purposes irrevocably submit all disputes to the jurisdiction of the Indian courts. The place of performance shall be India.

 

18. Cookies

 

A cookie is a small amount of data that is sent to your browser from a web server and stored on your computer’s hard drive. True-Opinion and Precise Research uses cookies to enhance performance and user experience on the website.

19. Child Protection / Surveys for children below 16 years of age

 

Consistent with the federal Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act of 1998 (COPPA), we do not knowingly collect or solicit response data nor personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of sixteen (16). Any person who provides their personal information to TrueOpinion through the Site represents that they are 16 years of age or older. 20. Confidentiality

 

All copyright and other intellectual property rights in the materials on this website are owned by Precise Research unless otherwise indicated. You may download, print or copy any material from this website that you wish, provided it is for your own personal, non-commercial use and you keep in place all original copyright notices or other intellectual property notices. You must maintain confidentiality, and not disclose to any other person, any information and content that you access or learn in connection with your access to such Services. You are prohibited from sharing with any third party, photographic or other imagery, information, or any other content from any and all activities within or from this Site. You must not use any such information or content for any purpose other than your participation in the Services in accordance with this Agreement. You hereby agree to notify Precise Research immediately if you learn of or suspect any use or disclosure of, or access to, any such information or content other than as specifically authorized in this agreement.

 

21. Termination of Membership

 

 

1. 1. Precise Research may terminate this Agreement and your membership
   • o immediately on written notice if you are in breach of this Agreement.
   • o at any time by giving you 30 days’ notice by email; or
   • o if you fail to take part in surveys in any twelve-month period
2. 2. You can terminate this Agreement at any time by unsubscribing from the Panel. This can be done by email, telephone or in writing. The termination will take effect three business days after the receipt of your notice. The contact details of Precise Research are as follows:

3. 3. Termination of the Agreement by Precise Research would not entitle you to claim any Rewards in your account.

23. Use of this website and acceptance to Privacy Policy

 

By agreeing to be the member of Precise Research and participate in the surveys sent by us, you accept our privacy policy and the terms & conditions mentioned here. Once you have submitted your answers to our joining questionnaire you become a member of the True Opinion Panel. Precise Research reserves the right to make changes to this Privacy Policy. We encourage you to periodically review the Privacy Policy. Your continued participation in Precise Research after any revisions to this this Privacy Policy constitutes your acceptance of this Privacy Policy, as amended, modified or updated.

 

24. Disclaimer for International Users

 

The Site is hosted in the India with backup servers in US and UK.
